FOMU, the networkResearch at Museums, consists of Swedish museums that conduct their own research. The network's task is to make research visible as an integrated and indispensable part of the museum's mission - a matter of course for us at Kiviks Museum, which has conducted research ever since the founding of Ola Cappelin in 1890!

GeoForum Scania, a network of organisations, museums, universities and institutions in Scania that work with place-based knowledge and research on geology and cultural heritage, and how these resources influence each other in historical times and in the present. Kiviks Museum actively participates in, among other things, spreading geocultural heritage to children and young people.

The whole of Sweden must live - Skåne, national organization that works with local development of Sweden's rural areas as attractive places to live and work. The organization coordinates and drives common issues and maintains contact with authorities and organizations at national and regional level.

International Council on Archives, the world's largest association of archives. The organization conducts research and establishes the international guidelines for archive work. We participate in the sub-group of local archive organizations in Europe.

International Council Of Museums, the world's largest association of museums. The organization conducts research and establishes the international guidelines for museum work. We participate in the sub-group for historical/archaeological museums.

Kiviks Tourism, a network of around 80 companies and associations in and around Kivik that work together to give you as a visitor wonderful memories of the many experiences of the Kivik area.

The cultural hub Österlen, a network for professional cultural actors in Österlen.

Mimer's research network, network for public education research and public education practice based at Linköping University.

The Nordic-Baltic Cooperation Council for Intangible Cultural Heritage, was formed in November 2019 at the first Nordic-Baltic cooperation conference on intangible cultural heritage. Kiviks Museum has had a regular seat on the board since its establishment.

The Network for Critical Heritage and Museum Studies, a newly started research network located at Mittuniversitetet, which contributes to knowledge exchange through research and collaboration between universities and the cultural heritage and museum sector.

Research Group on ICH & Sustainability, a subdivision of UNESCO and the ICH-NGO Forum, which works with research on cultural heritage and sustainable development. Kiviks Museum is Scandinavia's only museum representative in this research council group.

Cooperation for the Bay of Hanö, a collaboration platform for researchers, companies and coastal councils along the Hanö Bay for increased collaboration for clean water, circular economy and industrial symbiosis. Kiviks Museum contributes expertise, networks and research in resilience, cultural heritage and tourism.

SDG AcademyCommunity of Practice, a global network under the leadership of the UN of educational institutions within universities, civil society and business for peer exchange around education for sustainable development. Kiviks Museum is Scandinavia's first accredited museum in the network.

Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), a global network of universities, research institutes and companies, which since 2012 has been working to spread knowledge, education and practical solutions to the global and local sustainability goals under the leadership of the UN Secretary General. Kiviks Museum is Scandinavia's first accredited museum in the network.

The Swedish Archives Association, interest and umbrella organization for the individual archive sector in Sweden with collaborations across the Nordic region. Kiviks Museum is the convener of the national research and reference group for individual archives.
