Kiviks Museum is Scandinavia's first accredited museum in the UN's Sustainable Development Solutions Network!
On June 30, 2022, the Kivik Museum was admitted as an accredited member of the UN's global sustainability network,SDSN. It is the first museum throughout Scandinavia that achieves this status after a thorough review process for six months.

Together with universities, research institutes and sustainability companies, we are now working to find local solutions to the global sustainability goals.
Kiviks Museum's role is to be a sustainability ambassador for museums and archives and a way into a global network of researchers and solutions.

SDG Academy Community of Practice
Kiviks Museum has also been a member since October 5, 2022SDG Academy Community of PracticeAs the only museum in Scandinavia.
SDG Academy is the UN flagship training for sustainable development, with the task of creating and cure the best available programs on sustainable development within SDSN and make it accessible globally.
The SDG Academy Community of Practice brings together educators worldwide in universities, civil society and business for peer exchange around education for sustainable development.
